The R+M / Suttner Group was once again able to establish itself among the top 100 innovators from among 3,000 interested applicants.

The Group of Companies receives the award “TOP 100” once again and officially ranks among the 100 best medium-sized companies in Germany as from this year being awarded for its innovation management and innovative success.

The R+M / Suttner Group was once again able to establish itself among the top 100 innovators from among 3,000 interested applicants. “We are particularly pleased for all employees in the entire R+M / Suttner group of companies who do a great job, support us in all of our projects with their great commitment and team spirit and who never tire of contributing their own ideas,” says Alexander de Wit – managing director and owner.

As the only innovation competition in Germany, the Top 100 awards medium-sized companies for innovation management and innovation success. This means that Top 100 does not award individual products, but rather takes a close look at all stages of the innovation process. The competition is based on scientifically based research and is both free and independent.

Creative people are the most important aspect of the Group and this is why the innovation team undergoes regular trainings in the fields of product development, market development, and leadership.

Here, too, importance is attached to the close exchange with cooperation partners and customers to better understand customer requirements and find solutions more quickly.

Together with mentor Ranga Yogeshwar, TOP 100 honoured the most innovative companies of the German SME sector for the 28th time again this year.
TOP 100 has been on the market for over 25 years and is

  • the only competition that honours innovation management,
  • the most important award for innovative companies in the SME sector,
  • the “Club of Excellence”, where the German innovation elite gathers.

“We are very proud of this award and accept it on behalf of our colleagues who contribute to our success with their team spirit and creativeness,” the managing director Alexander de Wit says

What does TOP 100 mean?

TOP 100 is the only innovation competition in Germany to award medium-sized companies for their innovation management and innovative success on the basis of a scientifically sound investigation of about 120 criteria in five different categories

  • Successful Innovations
  • Climate of Innovation
  • Innovative processes and organisation
  • External orientation / open innovation
  • Top management that promotes innovation

It does not only measure the innovative output (i.e. the market success of new products and services as well as costs saved by process innovations) but also the innovative potential within the company. The evaluation and selection of the companies is in the hands of the world’s leading innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.
