1. Successful participation in the Top 100 innovation competition 2021/2024
The R+M / Suttner group is also 2024 officially one of the 100 best medium-sized companies in Germany. After a strict selection process in 120 criteria and five categories, the group of companies was put through its paces for its innovation management and innovation success by an independent team of scientists.
2. Certificate: WORK EXCELLENT HERE
Together with the Competence Center for Women and Work in Düsseldorf and the Mettmann district, the Düsseldorf Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) awarded R+M / Suttner and 8 other companies based in the Mettmann district with the certificate “Work Excellent Here”
3. Pioneers in the Innovation Park
We are based in Heiligenhaus as pioneers in the Innovation Park. This business district combines all the advantages of a peripheral location—such as abundant green spaces, relaxing “break areas,” and wide views of the scenic landscape—with the benefits of close proximity to the city center.
4. Entrepreneurial innovation competence with the BSFZ seal.
The BSFZ seal certifies the research and development activities of companies that have received at least one positive decision from the Research Allowance Certification Office (BSFZ). It is made available exclusively to companies that conduct research and development within the meaning of the Research Allowance Act.
5. Member of the North Rhine-Westphalia state program for combining work and care.
As an employer, we see it as our responsibility to take account of the needs of our employees who assume care responsibilities and to offer support. The R+M / Suttner group of companies has been a member of the state program since February 2023 and trained company care coaches have been working with us since 2021.
6. Prize “Die Goldene Hand 2021” awarded by BGHW to R+M de Wit GmbH.
With the prize “Die Goldene Hand”, the German Accident Prevention and Insurance Association for Trade and Logistics BGHW rewards successful measures and actions in occupational safety and health protection. Our lifting device has been awarded the prize. In the incoming goods, dispatch, and hose department, we developed pneumatic bellows tailored to our special requirements and thus contributed significantly to the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases.
7. Membership in the “Der Ausbilderkreis e.V.”
Since January 2020, R+M / Suttner has been a member of the association Der Ausbildungskreis e.V. supporting vocational education, professional training, and human resources development. As one of the more than 100 members from various industries in Düsseldorf and the region, we are looking forward to the exchange of experiences and an interesting agenda of events.
8. “Schlüsselregion” Membership
Since February 2014, R+M/Suttner has been member of “Schlüsselregion e.V.”, the industrial association for Velbert and Heiligenhaus, funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy. As one of more than 180 member companies, we are involved in many projects, exchange of information and common campaigns, as well as the search for qualified trainees from the region.
