We have been developing and manufacturing accessories and components for professional cleaning and hygiene technology for over 60 years. Our customers particularly value our high degree of vertical integration, state-of-the-art production processes, and strong commitment to quality. We manufacture predominantly in Germany. And it shows: in the durability, precision, and innovative strength of our products.
“Our products are developed and manufactured at our German sites. We deliberately focus on production in Germany – for quality control, response speed, and long-term spare parts availability.”
Alexander de Wit
Managing Director R+M / Suttner
Our products are made in Germany – their field of application knows no borders. R+M / Suttner components are part of professional cleaning solutions worldwide.
In many international markets, “Made in Germany” stands for reliability, precision, and technical expertise. It is precisely these values that make our products attractive to OEMs, wholesalers, and specialist partners – particularly where downtime is not an option.
The decision to choose Germany as a production location influences every single product. It ensures stability, reliability, and technical excellence along the entire value chain.
Through the close physical proximity of development, production, quality assurance, and logistics, we maintain full control over our processes. This enables rapid responses, consistent quality, and a long-term supply of spare parts independent of global uncertainties or shifting supply chains. Our customers benefit from this not only today, but across the entire lifecycle of a product.
While many manufacturers outsource production steps, we do not. R+M / Suttner manufactures at two German sites with a high degree of vertical integration. This ensures transparency, consistent quality, and maximum control over every product that leaves our premises.
Our production encompasses the following areas:
In engineering, ideas become functional solutions. Our developers work closely with production and quality management to design products that are practical and durable. CAD models, technical drawings, and documentation are created directly in-house. In this way, we create the foundation for efficient manufacturing and tailored customer solutions at R+M / Suttner.
Quality management accompanies every production step here. Components and assemblies are regularly inspected, documented, and approved. This ensures that our products meet demanding technical requirements and international standards. It builds trust and guarantees consistently high product quality over many years.

Toolmaking forms the foundation of our manufacturing processes. Here, tools and moulds are developed, produced, and continuously optimized. The close proximity to production enables fast adjustments and short response times. In this way, we ensure precision, repeatability, and consistently high component quality. In-house toolmaking is a core building block of our vertical integration.

In our turning shop, precision metal components are produced to meet the highest demands for dimensional accuracy and durability. Modern CNC lathes and experienced specialists ensure reproducible quality. Thanks to close links with engineering and assembly, components can be adapted and optimised quickly. This ensures short distances, high flexibility, and reliable results in both series and small-batch production.

In our plastic injection moulding department, we manufacture complex components with demanding technical requirements. Modern machinery, tailored tooling, and controlled processes ensure consistent quality. By maintaining in-house production, we remain flexible and independent of external supply chains. The result is durable components designed precisely for their intended application.

In assembly, individual components come together to form functional assemblies and finished products. Experienced staff assemble, inspect, and adjust every product with great care. Clear workflows and ergonomic workstations ensure quality and efficiency. No assembly leaves this department until it has passed a defined inspection.

At our sites, development, manufacturing, quality management, and logistics are closely integrated – ensuring short lines of communication, clear responsibility, and consistently high quality.
Anyone visiting us for the first time experiences it immediately: for us, order, cleanliness, and precision are essential core principles. Many of our customers are surprised by how structured and high-spec our production environment is. Our understanding of quality is reflected in:
“We develop products for people who have to rely on them. Every single day and under extreme conditions, worldwide.”
Alexander de Wit
Managing Director R+M / Suttner
Our engineering expertise makes us an innovation leader. We develop our products in-house based on the individual needs of our customers: from the initial concept and design right through to series production. This results in products that precisely match our customers’ requirements.
This is how, for example, custom solutions for OEM customers are created, where components are adapted to existing systems or completely reimagined. Ergonomic advancements in guns, lances, or couplings also stem directly from user feedback.
Our development teams work across locations and in close collaboration with production, assembly, and quality assurance. Technical drawings, assembly instructions, and data sheets are generated internally and continuously updated. The focus is always on three key priorities: exceptional ergonomics in daily use, maximum durability, and continuous innovation.
From our logistics hub, we supply international markets with a broad and deep product range. Thanks to high storage capacity and clearly defined workflows, we reliably deliver both individual parts and large unit volumes.
Our customers benefit from long-term availability of spare parts, components, and assemblies – regardless of when a product was originally developed.
For us, availability means: short paths, transparent processes, and reproducible quality.
For us, sustainability does not begin with the label, but with the choice of how and where we produce. Manufacturing long-lasting products means taking responsibility – for resources, for people, and for markets.
For R+M / Suttner, production in Germany stands for short distances, high standards, and maximum transparency. Our products are designed to be repaired, serviced, and used for many years. This reduces material consumption, avoids unnecessary replacements, and builds trust with our customers worldwide.
At R+M / Suttner, innovation happens continuously, not in isolation. Our manufacturing evolves alongside our customers’ requirements – step by step, product by product.
We develop new products based on real-world applications. Existing solutions are reimagined, enhanced, and adapted to new fields of use. Modern machinery, digital processes, and technical expertise work seamlessly together.
Not every innovation is immediately visible – some only prove their worth after years of operation.
For our customers, this means investment security, ongoing development, and products built to withstand future demands.
At R+M / Suttner, quality control doesn’t end with manufacturing. Before a product goes into service, it undergoes extensive load and endurance testing in our in-house testing rooms. High pressures, continuous switching operations, temperature fluctuations and aggressive media – we replicate under real conditions everything that affects our components in daily use.
On six test benches with a total power output of 180 kW, we determine the service life and safety reserves of every assembly – from functional and leak testing to burst pressure testing and endurance testing, where valves, spray guns and swivel joints complete millions of switching and load cycles. Modern measurement and data acquisition systems document every relevant parameter – fully, reproducibly and seamlessly traceable at all times.
Because development, production and quality assurance are all under one roof at our facility, these findings flow directly back into engineering: short paths, rapid improvements and products that deliver on their promises in the field. For our customers, this means maximum operational and investment reliability.
Behind every product are people who know their trade. At R+M / Suttner, development, production, quality assurance and logistics work closely together – with short communication paths and a high level of responsibility.
Many of our employees have been with the company for years or decades. This expertise flows directly into the products. Technical support, advice and development are not based on scripts here, but on experience.
Our standard is simple: understand problems, deliver solutions, work in partnership.
Our customers benefit not only from high-quality products, but also from a technical and commercial partnership on equal terms.
We understand the challenges faced by our customers – from specialist retailers and wholesalers to OEMs. That is why we develop solutions that simplify everyday work, speed up processes and reduce downtime.
Our products are used worldwide – often over many years. The feedback from customers who use and recommend our solutions in the long term is therefore particularly telling.
Many of our clients have been working with us for decades. This continuity is built on reliable products, predictable processes, and collaborative partnerships on equal terms.
Our products stand for precision, durability, and technical reliability. However, the best way to experience our quality and depth of manufacturing is through direct dialogue. Whether you have a specific product query, require a custom solution, or wish to gain a personal impression of our production facilities – we take the time to address your needs.
Direct, personal, and on equal terms – from the initial conversation to a long-term collaboration.
